1. Bangladesh origin foreign citizens and their wife/children living in Egypt, Cyprus are eligible for endorsement of “No Visa Required” to Travel to Bangladesh” in their foreign passports.  Their (foreign born) wives and children are also eligible for this endorsement, which facilitate the holder multiple entries into Bangladesh with unlimited duration of stay within the validity of the passport.
  2. To apply for a ‘No Visa Required’ (NVR) endorsement, the applicant must submit the following:
  3. Completed Application Form for No Visa Required for Travel to Bangladesh. (one copy)
  4. 2 copies of recently photographed passport size photographs (40mm X 50mm) with the face clearly visible

 

  1. Applicants foreign passport (in original), valid for at least six months.
  2. Prescribed first time fee of US$ 50 for each passport. (for the first time only)
  3. Documents must approved that he’s Bangladeshi.

Other requisite documents:

III. In case of dual citizenship:

  • Photocopy of the dual citizenship (if applicable) certificate or
  • Valid Bangladeshi passport or
  • Bangladeshi passport/ Union Council, Municipality and/or City Corporation issued birth certificate/ nationality certificate before taking dual citizenship.

 

  1. In case of Bangladeshi origin but foreign citizens’ wife and children:
  • Father/mother/husband’s valid Bangladeshi passport/dual citizenship certificate or Father/mother/husband’s Bangladeshi passport/Union Council/Municipality/City Corporation issued Father/mother/husband’s birth certificate/ nationality certificate before taking dual citizenship and
  • Affidavit from Father/mother/husband in respect of their wife/children and
  • ‘No objection certificate’ from the Special Branch of Police

 

  1. In case of foreign origin wife and children of Bangladeshi citizen:
  • Father/mother/husband’s Bangladeshi passport or Union Council/Municipality/City Corporation issued birth certificate/ nationality certificate , and
  • Marriage certificate (for wife) and
  • Affidavit from Father/mother/husband in respect of their wife/children and
  • ‘No objection certificate’ from the Special Branch of Police
  1. A ‘No objection certificate’ from the Special Branch of Police of Bangladesh is required for each application within 45 (forty five) days. If the report is not received within the stipulated time it would be understood that the relevant agency does not have any objection.

VII. The applicant is also required to produce proof of his Bangladeshi nationality such as educational certificates from government approved Educational board or institute/Bangladesh passport/local government institution issue nationality certificate.
VIII. The ‘No visa required for travel to Bangladesh’ facility to remain valid as long as the passport remains valid and if the passport is cancelled the facility will also be cancelled. However in case of the applicant had NVR in his old/date expired passport, while renewing/new passport he/she shall also be eligible to have NVR endorsement without any fees.
